Meet Becca

Becca (she/her) led CDA’s communications and outreach efforts to engage global audiences with CDA’s work. She spearheaded the development of CDA’s overall communications strategy, including Stopping as Success (SAS+) and the Environment-Fragility-Peace Nexus collaborative learning project, and led the redesign of CDA’s website, focusing on equitable storytelling and accessibility. She managed communications and fundraising campaigns across multiple channels and designed graphics for research reports, case studies, infographics, and social media content. Becca also led the effort to map CDA’s global partner network, and created interactive maps and visualizations to showcase this data to a broad audience. In 2024, Becca led CDA’s 30th anniversary communications campaign, culminating in our 30-year impact story: CDA’s 30-year tapestry: Community wisdom in global action.

In 2020-2021, Becca co-led the development of IATI Connect, a new platform to facilitate dialogue and engagement between donors and international and local partners around aid accountability, for the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) at UNDP. At LSE, she managed social media and graphic design for the LSE Africa Summit, Europe’s leading student-run conference on African development.

She received her Bachelor of Arts in Community, Environment, and Planning from the University of Washington and a Master of Science in Health and International Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Becca enjoys long hikes, exploring local parks, and baking for family and friends. She is based in Boston, MA.
