This case examines the work of the Inter-Religious Peace Foundation (IRPF) from its inception in 1993 to today.
The purpose of this case is to understand the impact the foundation’s community-based and inter-religious approach to peacebuilding has had on both the long-standing conflict between the Sinhalese and Tamil communities and the war between the Sri Lankan state and Tamil guerrilla groups led by the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam.
