The movie is "Mag" (2018).


On hot summer days, we all want to hide from the heat in the cinema while watching a relaxing movie with a bucket of popcorn. And it's even better if a Hollywood star is involved in the film, and it was on this principle that an action movie with a pinch of fiction was created - "Mag&starring Jason Statham. The picture promised to be a one-time movie, not to say that I didn't expect anything, but rather I was ready for too much trash. Perhaps that's why I still got from watching "Mag" pleasure as much as possible. For all its flaws, the film is still entertaining, which we'll talk about in more detail later.

This time, the review will be a kind of bonus. Although the picture is one that you quickly forget about, it has received an official sequel announcement, and I would like to share my guesses about what the sequel might be talking about and whether it will be at all.
So, probably everyone noticed that both sharks in the frame had different sizes depending on the scene, and this is not the only blunder here.Also, without further ado, we begin the review!
? The positive aspects:

1. Two sharks is the only and pretty good plot twist. You rarely expect the slightest surprises in the plot from such films. Sometimes, if they are, they are easily guessed ahead. And with "Mag&"nevertheless, we ventured to try to surprise the audience.

I doubt that the scriptwriters succeeded (with the exception of not very sophisticated viewers, for sure), and this moment also did not affect me as it was intended, but there are several reasons why I consider it a "plus" for this story.

Firstly, this course of narration still enhances the overall picture, and as I mentioned above, I think it was able to surprise certain viewers. And I think the second reason is the staging of this scene. The second megalodon appeared as at the time of the happy ending for the heroes, it was larger than the previous one and immediately caused a lot of trouble. DON'T take it for cynicism or cruelty, but the spectacular appearance of a monster is also reinforced by the instantaneous eating of one of the characters, to a certain extent making the moment more significant. And not in the sense that you get attached to the characters (we'll talk about this later), but because this is not the first time the film makes it clear that a similar situation can happen to the characters here.

2. The plot is a narrative that does its job well. To call this movie an intellectual film would be a moral crime, but an entertainment attraction is just its correct characteristic. As I said before, the tape is entertaining enough, and this is primarily due to the plot, which, although teeming with flaws, still holds the bar to hold the viewer.
